ACE Your AMEB Exam
These 3 workshops are designed to complement regular lessons and will help students taking AMEB piano and violin exams with 3 key, examined areas – sight reading, aural skills, and general knowledge. Each session is 1 hour and offers practical strategies and hands-on activities to build confidence and understanding.
Participants will:
- Learn how to approach sight reading with clarity and control
- Develop listening skills essential for aural tests
- Explore how to prepare for general knowledge questions about pieces, composers, and musical context
These workshops provide a supportive environment to ask questions, try new techniques, and gain valuable insights into exam preparation.
Suitable for students studying for Level 1 exams i.e. Prelim – Grade 4 in piano and violin.
Students studying at Level 2 i.e. Grade 5 and above (Grade 3 and above in the case of Aural) , one-on-one sessions are available.
AMEB Grade 1 & 2 Theory
Contact us for details
As students progress to higher-level AMEB practical exams (Grade 4 and above), they are required to complete a Theory exam. In these engaging and informative 1.5-hour sessions, Ann will cover all the essential theory knowledge needed for success—explaining the content, breaking down each topic, and showing students exactly how to approach and answer the exam questions.
Whilst preference will be given to Maxx Music Students, these workshops are open to any child or young person taking AMEB exams
