SCHOOL HOLIDAY MUSIC ACTIVITIES

School holidays mean music! We offer school holiday music activities to suit everyone!  This April our activities include group classes in ukulele, singing or guitar for young musicians who are just starting out in music, Band in a Day workshops for more experienced musicians and one-on-one music lessons for new and existing students! 

The Bands are back in town!!!

These school holidays Maxx Music will be running Band in a Day sessions.

Bands will run on Tuesday 16 and Tuesday 23 April from 9.30am-4pm (drop off from 9am).

We are looking for:

• Guitarists
• Bassists
• Drummers
• Vocalists
• Saxophonists
• Keyboard Players

We are planning to run 2 bands these holidays which will be created at a level appropriate for the band members.  Please indicate experience and skill level on the enrolment form to assist with this process.

Enrolment is $100.   If you have not used your Creative Kids NSW Voucher, these can be used towards the cost of the workshop.

Band in a Day is open to musicians who are not Maxx Music students, so feel free to tell your friends.

 Bands will be confirmed in the week commencing 8 April (earlier if possible)

1 Hour Workshops

$30 beginner workshops to get you started on your musical journey!

Beginner group sessions for ukulele, guitar or singing where you can learn the basics of your chosen instrument and find your love for playing music in a fun group of likeminded students!  No prior experience needed and we’ll even provide the instrument for you.

Sessions are designed for ages 5 and up and we will try our best to put similar ages into each session.

Monday 22 April

10am   Guitar for Beginners

11am    Ukulele for Beginners

Wednesday 24 April

10am   Ukulele for Beginners

11am   Guitar for Beginners

Creative Kids Vouchers can be redeemed and will cover one workshop!

Trials and Additional One-on-one Lessons

We have our fantastic teachers available for one-on-one lessons these holidays!
One-on-one music lessons are the most effective way of learning an instrument, and the holidays are a perfect time to try it out before we move in to Term 2 of 2024!

For new students, we are offering a FREE 30 minute trial class. 

For existing students, we are offering additional lessons for $47.50 for half an hour, or $80 for our one hour class holiday special!
